For the absolutely most perfect grilled filet mignon, or any steak for that matter, all you need is 2 ingredients: The steak, and salt. Period. Well, one third thing, a little bit of oil. The rest is execution. Which is incredibly simple: Preheat the grill, limit flipping to no more than 4 times, don’t rush, press or squeeze anything and let the steak rest after it’s done cooking.
